About Us The Bronx/Manhattan Youth Federation is committed to facilitating programs that will lead young men and women to reach unparalleled mental, physical, and spiritual heights. We are also committed to providing training and support to our youth leaders as they diligently work to prepare children, youth and young adults for the second coming of Christ. The Bronx/Manhattan Youth Federation is a subsidiary of the Youth Ministries Department of the Northeastern Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists. It is one of 10 federated areas in the Northeastern United States governed by the Constitution and Bylaws of the Northeastern Conference. The President of the Bronx/Manhattan AY Federation is Earnest Flowers III. Mission Statement The Bronx/Manhattan Adventist Youth Federation is comprised of 11 Seventh-day Adventist Churches: Bronx Temple, Bronx Washington, City Tabernacle, Dimensions of Hope, Ephesus, Hunts Point, Mount of Blessings, New Hope, North Bronx Ghana, Sharon, and Smyrna. We advocate a ministry that does not recognize distinctions of race, class, or national origin. Our Primary objective is to actively participate in the growth and development of every youth under our care, equipping them for society and the Kingdom of God. We employ a set of values and an ethical system as a guide to behavior for our youth that will evoke careful thought to their call and role in life. These sets of values and goals are codified and facilitated through the following activities: In-Reach Programs such as socials, retreats, individualized ministries, i.e. peer or group meetings. Out-Reach Programs such as visiting the sick/shut-in members, prison ministry, and outdoor AYS programs. Nurturing and Training such as workshops and Youth week of prayer. We encourage our youth to be different, to always feel challenged while equipping them with the necessary resources to meet these challenges. We allow them opportunities to be brought face to face with the realistic representation of God's ideal for mankind and mostly, allowing them to be fully geared to establish and maintain a relationship with Christ through the Spirit.
