Mission

The Miss Black USA Pageant and Scholarship Foundation, Inc. develops and promotes national leadership among women in the African American community.  The annual competition provides scholarship opportunities that allow state delegates to pursue and achieve their educational, career, and personal goals.  The organization develops women who are strong, empowered, and educated and who serve as positive role models to other women of color.

Scholarship

Miss Black U.S.A. Pageant celebrates scholastic achievement and believes that education is the key to lifelong success.  The Miss Black USA Pageant promotes education and leadership by providing scholarships to participating state delegates.

Community Service

The Miss Black USA Pageant is a community driven organization and is committed to addressing health and education, two leading social issues in the African American community.  Winners of official "Miss Black USA" state pageants will use her civic platform to promote awareness of these issues during her reign.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE...

The Miss Black USA Pageant, Inc., has terminated its agreement with Direct Communications.  The St. Louis, MO based company independently produced the 2003 Miss Black USA Pageant.  Effective March 1, 2004, the Miss Black U.S.A. Scholarship Pageant, Inc. is under new management.
